Thomas Percival Parmeter .

Thomas Percival Parmeter was born in Llangower, Merioneth, Wales and was the fourth son of Francis Parmeter and the former Charlotte Elizabeth Phillips. In 1910 he married Ethel Richardson and they had three children. He served in World War one in the 6th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers rising to the rank of Captain. He relinquished his commission in 1921. After leaving the Army he became a Chartered Accountant and his offices where at 31 Mosley street, Newcastle upon Tyne.

He was one of the founder partners of Price Waterhouse in Newcastle and was the Commanding officer of the 9th Battalion, Newcastle Central, Northumberland Home Guard. During World War Two he lived at 19 Osborne Avenue, Jesmond. He died in 1948.
